About

Dr Ahmed Adlan.

Ahmed is a Cardiologist with a sub-specialty interest in Electrophysiology & Devices.

 

He graduated with an MBBS and BMedSci from Barts & The London Medical School, Queen Mary University of London. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Birmingham based on his thesis entitled “Autonomic function in rheumatoid arthritis”.

 

He has numerous peer reviewed publications (on various topics including arrhythmias, sudden death and catheter ablation) and has presented at international conferences. He has a keen interest in medical education.

 

He was the Deputy Editor for the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) Editorials 2019-2020, and was invited to speak at the Royal College of Physicians Teach-In Cardiology programme in 2019. He was co-organiser and faculty member for the COVID ACIM webinar series.
